Are you in search of a quick secure high back carry? A Cute Reverse Onbuhimo may be your solution! This carrier can be made from 100% Cotton twill from C&C and features a decorative panel of
Wild Thing print. And you can customize the options to best fit you!
The shoulder straps are padded making it nice and comfy for the wearer. The shoulder straps have a pair of small solid aluminum rings from Slingrings.com. And the best feature of all of this carrier is that there is no waist band! The child's weight is supported on the wearer's shoulders and upper back. The feeling is much like a ruck carry in a woven wrap. A reverse onbuhimo is considered an advanced carry. It does have a learning curve. You will want to practice wearing with a spotter to help. It usually takes some tweaking in how you adjust the carrier to find your "sweet spot". But once you have mastered the carrier it is a great quick and easy back carrier!
Included with every carrier is an instruction booklet. It has descriptive written instructions as well as full color pictures to help you with wearing and adjusting your carrier.
Once you purchase this listing I will send you a link to a form to fill out with all your desired custom options.
You can choose the color for the shoulder straps and bottom wrap straps.

How does a Reverse Onbuhimo work?
A reverse onbuhimo has a body panel that the child sits in; has short padded shoulder straps with rings; and long bottom straps. The bottom straps are threaded through the rings on the shoulders creating straps like a backpack. The child sits in the carrier with their legs out the arm straps and the bottom of the carrier folds up between their legs creating a seat. You wear the carrier just like a back pack. The straps can then be tied of in many different ways for added support or decoration.

What size child can it carry?
A reverse onbuhimo is intended for a child that can sit up on their own with no assistance or props. This is because the way an onbuhimo is designed it does not offer much side/trunk support for the child. A child that has not developed their core strength may be at risk of suffocation and falling.
Baby: Fits early sitters up to those who wear 18 months

Toddler: Fits those who wear 2T to 4T
The carrier has been tested for 15 to 65 pounds.
How does it fit the wearer?
The design of the carrier makes it very adjustable, and will fit most body types. I have fitted moms and dads who wore XS to plus sizes and they were all comfy in the carrier. Since the carrier has long straps with rings you are able to use the length for larger sizes and are able to tighten in down nice and tight for smaller sizes. The only difference will be how much strap you have left for tying off once the carrier is secure.
